I really agreed with your answer to the structure question about loving the “rules”. I’m a music educator, and so often I’m told let the kids e0;2xploreଅ which translates into “play whatever the hell they want to play without thinking and audiating before they play.” People think rules constrict while I tend to think that rules offer a good starting point and can always be broken or reconstructed if needed. Kids should explore, but with a purpose. I hope that made sense. Anyway, great post!
