{"id":57,"date":"2008-12-31T14:25:59","date_gmt":"2008-12-31T22:25:59","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.animerepublic.net\/?p=57"},"modified":"2010-02-19T18:11:46","modified_gmt":"2010-02-20T02:11:46","slug":"another-one-for-november-2008","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.animerepublic.net\/?p=57","title":{"rendered":"Another one for November 2008"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>As I mentioned back in the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.animerepublic.net\/?p=53\">October listing<\/a> I had picked up the first volume of the new <a href=\"https:\/\/www.animerepublic.net\/images\/gallery\/DVDs%20(R2,%20others)\/October%202008\/Oct%202008%20R2%20DVD%20MSIGLOO2.jpg\" target=\"_blank\">MS Igloo series on Blu-ray<\/a> rather than on DVD. Therefore my <a href=\"http:\/\/www.bandai-ent.com\/h\/igloo\/index.html\" target=\"_blank\">Bandai Visual USA MS Igloo DVDs<\/a> would not fit in the box as I had planned. Blu-ray is great and all don\u00e2\u20ac\u2122t get me wrong, but since this release was in Japanese with no English subtitles, it was more about the packaging.<\/p>\n<p>I have since rectified that issue with the same <a href=\"https:\/\/www.animerepublic.net\/lazy-index.php?file=DVDs%20(R2,%20others)\/November%202008\/\">volume 1 of the second MS Igloo series on DVD<\/a> with <a href=\"https:\/\/www.animerepublic.net\/images\/gallery\/DVDs%20(R2,%20others)\/November%202008\/Nov%202008%20R2%20DVD%20MSIGLOO2%2001.jpg\" target=\"_blank\">box<\/a> that nicely hold Bandai Visual USA\u00e2\u20ac\u2122s two volume release of the first series plus <a href=\"https:\/\/www.animerepublic.net\/images\/gallery\/DVDs%20(R2,%20others)\/November%202008\/Nov%202008%20R2%20DVD%20MSIGLOO2%2002.jpg\" target=\"_blank\">this first volume of the second series<\/a>. All is now well in box land.<\/p>\n<p>I\u00e2\u20ac\u2122ll hang onto the Blu-ray version as well, just on the extreme off chance that <a href=\"http:\/\/www.bandai-ent.com\/\" target=\"_blank\">Bandai Entertainment USA<\/a> will release the new series under their <a href=\"http:\/\/www.bandai-ent.com\/h\/\" target=\"_blank\">Honneamise line<\/a> (formerly Bandai Visual USA) in Blu-ray (or at all for that matter).
